"Rowdy" Roddy Piper passes away at age 61.

The WrestleTime Team is saddened to learn about the passing of WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (George Toombs). He passed away on July 30th, 2015 due to cardiac arrest. He was found dead today in his home in Hollywood, California. Vince McMahon, CEO of WWE, said "Roddy Piper was one of the most entertaining, controversial and bombastic performers ever in WWE, beloved by millions of fans around the world. I extend my deepest condolences to his family."
